About Me
Hello, my name is Donna. I’m a photographer and artist based in Huntsville and proudly serving North Alabama.
I first picked up a camera at the age of 13 and immediately fell in love with photography. Already immersed in art through sketching and painting, photography quickly became another creative outlet for me. Through 4-H Club, I was able to further develop my photography skills and even earned several first-place awards. Not long after, one of my photos — a picture of our family dog — was published in the local newspaper, encouraging my passion even more.
One of my greatest joys is capturing meaningful moments and genuine emotions during photoshoots. I specialize in casual, natural photography — focusing on relaxed, authentic interactions rather than stiff “say cheese” poses. Whether I’m photographing seniors, families, couples, or lifestyle sessions, my goal is to help clients feel comfortable so their personalities truly shine. Often, the best moments happen in between poses — the laughter, silliness, and real smiles that create lasting memories.
Most of my sessions take place outdoors, taking advantage of the many beautiful and photogenic locations throughout the Huntsville area.
In addition to portrait photography, I’m also available for events such as birthday parties, family celebrations, and real estate photography.
You never know what might capture my eye along the way, so check back often to see what I’m working on next!
