Easter
Not a typical Easter here. Kids were traveling or working so it meant a slow, laid-back day. I really miss the kids, all but one grown and on their own, but I am so thankful they are all leading happy, productive lives. Like many of you, I wear many hats: wife, mom, friend, sister, breadwinner, coworker, neighbor, DIYer, photographer, pet sitter, organizer, cheerleader, doctor, artist, graphic designer, chef, reader, traveler, gamer, and so many more. The day-to-day can be crazy some days, leading to early mornings like this one just to get it all done! But Sunday was a day to reflect on many of those roles, what matters, and how I can be my best at them. A constant in that thought process was the little things. Photography allows me the opportunity to stop and look at the little things. Little things, like this little fairy house, where I stopped in the middle of a photoshoot just for a moment to see the little things. On any given day, even when not behind a camera, I notice the little things about people: their eyes, their smiles, the way they hold their hands when they talk, the way they walk, and so much more.
